Houston, TX (January 28, 2004) - EA Sports today released details on
the Madden Bowl Championship being held in Houston on Super Bowl weekend.

WHAT: Top NFL players and Hollywood celebrities will be competing on
Thursday, January 29th to see who will be crowned The EA SPORTS Madden BowlÔ
Champion and launch a new brand of football from EA SPORTS BIG, NFL STREET.
Hip-Hop legend P. Diddy and actor Anthony Anderson will host the longest-running
and biggest annual video game tournament celebrating its 10th anniversary in
Houston, Texas with the most exciting pre-game activity during Super Bowl week,
the EA SPORTS Madden Bowl. The videogame tournament, which is one of Super Bowl
week’s hottest tickets, features NFL players going head-to-head on the #1
selling football videogame franchise in the world, Madden NFL 2004.
The competition is fierce as the single-elimination tournament produces many
memorable video battles, trash-talking moments, interviews, and photo
opportunities. The NFL STREET launch will include scheduled performances from
Sony Music artists including X-ecutioners, DJ KaySlay, Lil Flip, Killer Mike,
and Wylde Bunch while Dhani Jones (Giants) hosts the action on STREET with many
special guests.
