WHO: Charlie Garner, running back from the AFC Champion Oakland Raiders takes on
Keenan McCardell, wide receiver from the NFC Champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers, on
989 Sports(R) NFL GameDay(TM) 2003 on the PlayStation(R)2 computer entertainment
system, in a preview of Super Bowl XXXVII. NFL Hall-of-Famer Lynn Swann and
Access Hollywood's Pat O'Brien will host the event.
WHAT: The Game Before the Game(R) is 989 Sports' simulation of the Super Bowl
played on NFL GameDay 2003 on PlayStation 2. Over the past seven years, 989
Sports has matched players from AFC and NFC Championship teams in a head-to-head
competition to see who will be the early favorite to win the Super Bowl. A
perfect seven of the previous seven winners of the Game Before the Game have
gone on to victory in the Super Bowl.
