Vivendi Universal Games today announced the development of Hunter: The Reckoning
Wayward for the PlayStation 2. Hunter: The Reckoning Wayward, developed by
High Voltage Software, continues the story of the action adventure franchise

From Interplay:
High-speed action combined with top-notch graphics translate the dark fantasy
world of the White Wolf role-playing game and bring the essence of the game to
life, fully submerging the player into the realm of The World of Darkness.
Wayward comes to the PlayStation(r)2 this summer with an all new story,
game-play features, weapons and terrifying monsters.
Welcome back to the sleepy town of Ashcroft, where two years ago a
supernatural evil was destroyed by four Hunters. In the last two years the town
has put the past behind them...or so they thought. A cult has formed underground
and now two years later events reminiscent of the past have begun to occur.
After receiving a distress call from a mysterious new Hunter, the four original
Hunters realize they must return to the town. Evil has again resurfaced and the
Hunters are Ashcroft's only hope of deliverance.
