A Unison Attack (U-Attack) is a group effort in which each member performs a Tech Attack at no cost to your party's Tech Points. You'll need to fill a special meter by performing successful attacks before you can launch a U-Attack. You can't learn Unison Attacks until you're about 10 hours into the game.

You'll need to set each Tech Attack in the U-Attack menu. Press the Z Button to start the Unison Attack. Every member of your party is represented by the A, B, X or Y buttons. Press the button and a direction on the Control Stick to make the character perform their Tech Attack.

Sometimes, characters can perform a combo during a Unison Attack. For example, if Lloyd performs Tiger Blade and Colette performs Pow Hammer, the two combine for a powerful Pow Blade attack. Once you get the basics of the Unison Attack down, experiment with different combinations of Tech Attacks to see which yield combos.
