San Andreas will open up the countryside as a whole new area of play. What
fun is a carjacking game in the country you ask? Well just because you’re out of
the city it does not mean that you’re out of options when it comes to grabbing a
ride.

| The riding lawnmower. |
First of all there is that country classic, the riding lawnmower. When you’re
trying to make your getaway across a field, an idle riding mower is a godsend.
It may not be as fast as a car, but it is a lot better than running.
If you’re looking for something with more muscle than a lawnmower, then the
bulldozer will certainly fit the bill. The dozer can plow through many objects
in the game – fences, plants, outdoor furniture, vehicles, etc. The dozer is not
just big; it functions just like its real-life counterpart. In fact, you can
operate the plow with the right stick to lift objects or flip cars. The dozer
even features rear-wheel steering just like a real bulldozer.
For those of you who want to driver something really big, the 18-wheelers in
San Andreas will be sure to please. Driving a big rig is not like driving a
sports car and the San Andreas physics engine will teach you this lesson really
quickly. The trailer and cab are separate objects so the trailer will whip
around corners or jackknife if you’re not careful. You can even lose your
trailer if you drive too recklessly, which will force you to waste time trying
to get it hooked up again. There will be a variety of big rigs in the game
including tankers. Gas tankers make great rolling bombs, so the next time you
need to really dish out some destruction speed a tanker at your target and then
hop out before it hits.
