GT: Is the game based on the original series or the newer Armada series?
The game is based loosely on Armada using Characters and the basic premise of
that series
GT: Does the game feature an original storyline?
The basic premise is the same as the cartoon and comic book but we have
condensed the plot so that the player concludes the armada story during the
course of the game.
GT: How many Autobots can you play as in the game? Will you have the chance
to play as a Decepticon as well?
You can play as the 3 main Autobot characters of the series Optimus Prime, Red
Alert, and Hot Shot. The decepticons are used as bosses in the game.
GT: Which Decepticons will make an appearance in the game? Will you get the
chance to do battle with them? Will you face Megatron?
We chose the coolest decepticons for the player to battle. Yes, you will meet
Megatron as well as Cyclonus, Starscream and the Colossal Tidalwave.
GT: Will you face other enemies in addition to the Decepticons and their
Decepticlones?
The final boss fight is something really special where you will be facing the
ultimate transformer, Unicron.
GT: How many Minicons will there be? Can you combine them in any way you want
with any Autobot?
There are over 40 minicons, which give the Autobots special weapons or
abilities. You can have up to 4 minicons equipped at a time so there is a great
deal of strategy in working out the best ‘loadout’ for a given situation.
However each minicon produces a certain amount of energon, some more than
others, the autobots systems are limited by how much energon they can take so
some combinations of high power minicons may not be possible. Optimus Prime has
the greatest energon capacity but even he cannot support 4 of the most powerful
minicons
GT: How many levels are in the game and what type of environments will they
be set in?
The game is split into 8 locations. These are huge roaming levels that allow the
player to explore freely to find the hidden minicons. The locations include the
Amazon, Antarctic, Alaska, Volcanic Islands, The Decepticon’s Starship, and even
the interior of Tidalwave.
GT: Will there be support for multiplayer games? Online play?
No, this is a single player game only.
