Malcolm's Mansion
- This is effectively your house to buy and sell stuff in, upgrade or
destroy. Malcolm neither steals anything from it, nor are you charged or
reimbursed for removing or adding value to it. The only thing you need to do
is buy the best skill objects you can find to hasten the maximizing of all
your skills so you can complete the last promotion in your career.
- How to get married easily: You can only marry Sims from one of the
freeplay houses so don't waste time trying to propose to anyone else. Once
you have managed to get one of the freeplay Sims to fall in love with you,
invite them over to the mansion in the morning around 8 AM. Before they
arrive, buy a hot tub and cook a group meal. Let them eat, and then let them
use a bathroom. When they are done in the bathroom, get in the hot tub and
make them join you there. They will stay in until one of their motives is
maxed out. As soon as they get out of the hot tub, use the propose
interaction. They should accept immediately. If they don't try again the
next day, but improve the quality of your refrigerator and stove and
increase your cooking skill.
- How to have a baby easily: You must be married. You and your spouse must
be in a good mood. Keep kissing your spouse repeatedly until you get a
dialog that asks you if you want a baby and say yes.
- How to take care of a baby: babies requires 3 days of almost constant care
before they turn into a child. Attempt this goal AFTER you have got your
last promotion and reward movie, and then pay NO attention to your main Sim
- just let them autonomously do whatever they want. Put the baby in one of
the bedrooms and only have the new spouse take care of them. Every single
time the baby starts crying, use the following interactions on it in this
order: Feed, sing, play. Repeat as necessary until the little whiner shuts
up. When the spouse gets tired, only make them sleep in the bed near the
baby because when the baby starts crying it will wake them up so they can
immediately care for the baby.
- How to send a child to prep school quick: Always buy a telescope. This
object can only be unlocked by getting the first paramilitary promotion at
Shiny Things Labs. Make the child use the telescope when they are in a good
mood to raise the grades rapidly to an A. Send the kid to school three days
in a row with an A- or better and they will get into prep school!
- If you move out of the mansion to another location to start a new career,
you will still be at career level 10. You can stay in that career level and
keep getting fat paychecks as long as you want! Use the excess cash to turn
your new home into a palace!
- You can sell everything in the mansion for well over $100,000 and not get
charged for it when you move out. Then you can start a new career at Mimi's
Place or Dudley's Trailer and use all that money to turn THEIR houses into
mansions too! All that money will be returned to you when move out again, so
you can basically turn every location into a huge mansion by the end of the
game! Keep in mind; all careers need to finish up at the mansion, so you
will need to build some sort of residence there later if you want to
complete all the careers.
