- The futon beds are not very comfortable. Sell them and sell some expensive
art to finance the purchase of the most expensive beds you can buy.
- For a party, the Studio will needs lots of bathroom space and a good
kitchen. Sell expensive art to finance your renovation.
- Throwing the great art opening unlocks the Pottery Wheel. This object can
be bought and used to build the creativity skill. It also produces vases
which can be either sold for a profit or given away as gifts to increase
relationships. In addition, the pottery wheel has a special social
interaction called "get dirty." Just use the pottery wheel and
invite another Sim you are in live with to "get dirty" to keep the
relationship high.
- To have a great art opening, remove the walls between the kitchen and the
large front left room. This will make them all one room. Make dinner around
6PM and then use the phone to start a party. The party goers will make a
beeline for the food once they arrive. Once inside, the goal will
automatically be accomplished.
- Always complete the house improvement goal by adding $1000 in objects to
Studio 8. This unlocks the electric guitar object which can be used to
increase the creativity skill, entertain other Sims, and build relationships
at the same time. Plus it sounds cool.
- Secret: Counter Culture promotion to Massage Therapist unlocks the
sculpture block. Players can buy this object and use it to build creativity
skill. It also produces sculptures which can be sold for a profit!
- Secret: Fashion Victim promotion to Lingerie Model unlocks the laser light
show. Always buy this object in any location you live in. It is a cheat
object that allows you to pay for good moods. The "Soma" setting
improves comfort. The "Chakra" setting improves energy. The "Cubella"
setting improves fun.
- To unlock a new car, visit Mimi's Place and clean up her mess.
- The main skill a Counter Culture Sim will need here is cooking. Since this
career already unlocked Pixel Acres for visiting, just visit that location
in a good mood and use the Gourmet Stove to make Hors d'oeuvres to build the
cooking skill quickly.
- The main skill a Fashion Victim will need here is creativity. Since this
career already unlocked Club Rubb for visiting, just visit that location in
a good mood and use the DJ Booth to spin to build the creative skill
quickly.
- Always make friends with both Artie and Charity. Not only will you unlock
to secret social interactions, but you will make 2 friends that will come in
handy later.
- Always send the other Sim you can control (either Artie or Charity) to
work. Their paycheck goes right into your bank account.
