Mom's House

Use the toilet to unlock the maid. This will allow you to hire the maid service in any house later in the game to clean up messes.
Make friends with Mom as you will need lots of friends later in your career.
Use the newspaper to find a job ( the choice is up to you)
Sell the Oriental rug and grandfather clock and buy a hot tub, an expensive couch, espresso machine and a plasma TV so you can use them to keep your motives high when you return later to visit your Mom.
Sell non-essential objects and buy skill objects.
Take advantage of the artificially high mood here to build any skills you choose.
