The overall gameplay is very repetitive and other than the slight change in obstacles, the stages feel just about the same early on in each stage - jump over one hit death hazards and fight enemies occasionally. The game ramps up a little per boss, but for the most part, I found myself constantly jumping from platform to platform while avoiding enemies and other obstacles in each stage over and over. Platforrm hopping is so very constant in this game. There are some bonus games that can be played, but they start to feel just as repetitive. In both of them you control a basket as you race down the street while collecting coins and dodging parked cars. Just like the main game, it is hard not to die in this mini game, so you'll be starting over constantly.

The game is presented in a pseudo 3-D style much like that of Viewtiful Joe. Your character can move into the foreground and background just a bit on each platform - this is rarely useful. The playable character appears very small on the screen with no ability to zoom in closer to him/her. Overall the graphics are fairly standard cel-shaded graphics and have some nice little additions like an end stage boss in the background as you run by a certain portion of the stage. Cutscenes are presented with a standard picture and text.

Each stage soundtrack is composed of Spanish music. The game seems to lack sound effects in some portions. For instance while collecting coins, there is no sound effect to confirm that you have collected one. There is also no sound when you die, just a constant playing of the stage soundtrack then you quietly respawn. The game could have really used some dialogue during cutscenes also. Just reading text and looking at pictures is very boring.

Controls are fairly solid. The game does have a few issues with hit detection while fighting enemies through, so I found myself slashing aimlessly at times just to get a few hits or sometimes I would miss an enemy with a ground pound attack even though my character did touch him.
