Have you ever dreamed of being a veterinarian? Are you looking for practice in that field of study? Well, this game is not for you. Are you interested in playing a good game where you take on the role of a veterinarian? Well, this game is still not for you. Do you have a passion for animals and want to learn more about them? Well, this game may amuse you for a while.
Zoo Hospital allows you to take on the role of a veterinarian intern at a local zoo. You are hired by your attractive Aunt Lucy to help her tend to the animals inside the zoo. The more animals you tend to, the more popularity the zoo will receive and thereby the zoo will receive newer animals.
So Aunt Lucy welcomes you into the zoo then throws you into the middle of treating without too much of an introduction at all. She basically says "Hi" to you by your DS screen name then tells you to get to work. Throughout the zoo, you will have a variety of animals to view or treat.
Animals in need of treatment will blink on the map of the zoo and then you simply touch the icon to go to the treatment screen. From the treatment screen, the animal will be lying in front of you and then you will have to run tests on the animal to see what the problem is. Lucy will comment on the animal's symptoms then she will turn you loose from there.
Run tests on the patient animal then compare the data from the test with the data in the DOCC (Doctor's Observational Computerized Clipboard). If the slightest thing doesn't match up then be sure to point it out or Lucy will throw you out of her office then you'll have to reenter - well, she'll actually tell you that she doesn't think you can treat that animal, but she'll be more than happy to give you another chance.
