"At first glance, I thought that this game would not be such a hit. I assumed
this because of the cheesy godzilla movies made back in the 60-70's. But after
playing for about 10 minutes, i thought the game rocked! Throwing buildings,
energy beams, realistic environment, and ass kicking action, made me look at
godzilla at a better prospective. I would give this game a 10/10......(if i was
a major Godzilla fan)..but since I'm just starting out, ill give it a 9/10." -

"Godzilla melee is sweet but needs more combat options and abilities such as
combos. Overall Godzilla Melee is awesome." - badger
"Not only the monster are back, but they brought a new monster
"Mechagodzilla"3 to Xbox, I hope they bring back all the monsters( Including
non-godzilla movie) for part 2" - G-man
"I am irritated.
I've waited for 15 years for a game like this, and I can't even use the
characters. Thank you Atari for finally waking up and creating a game that does
justice for the potential of a great Godzilla game. Extensive lengths were taken
in research of all sounds and actions and lights and gizmos, but why are you
focusing on the recent. Mothra needs to be a playable character. (She was back
in the first Godzilla game made for the Nintendo) (The second, too) Also, what
is the fascination with Hedorah? I've never even seen Godzilla vs. the Smog
Monster. It's impossible to find at a video store, and Super Scary Saturday
never aired it. They even showed Ghidora the Three-Headed Monster. Where's the
classic blood squirt when Gigan's blades graze Godzilla's neck? Several Godzilla
movies have a considerable amount of blood. Lasers and pointy finger missiles
tend to do so. Don't make it cute for us. The last thing I want to see is three
little brats dressing as mecha-king Ghidorah for Halloween. Back to my first
point. Screw you. I've waited long enough. I waited when it was only released
for Game Cube. Now I wait some more while I flip-out trying to defeat Mecha-Godzilla.
Yeah, he's tough, and, yeah, there's no way Godzilla should have beaten him,
twice, once overcoming a two-on-one, but it's annoying. You know. If you weren't
stealing my time. I wouldn't care. But I have a job. I don't jerk-off around the
house and play Xbox all day. I just want to use the monsters." - Jonathan Roberts
