The game's campaign takes you to a variety of environments from jungles to towns. The missions all have multiple phases with objectives that are added as the missions unfold. The difficulty of these objectives is pretty inconsistent - some will be easy to knock off the very first time while others will require numerous attempts. Some are particularly frustrating such as the game's escort objectives that have you protecting people or vehicles. These inconsistencies make GRAW2 one of those games that at times is a lot of fun while at others you'll just stop playing out of frustration and swear off ever touching the game again.
While GRAW2 does have multiplier support in the form of two player co-op play in the game's campaign, the complete lack of any competitive multiplayer modes is surprising. While not all PSP shooters include a multiplayer component, the Tom Clancy franchises are known for their excellent multiplayer modes so you'd think that that would include GRAW2.
In spite of its shortcomings, GRAW2 is an enjoyable shooter. It's nowhere near the intense and engrossing experience that GRAW is on home consoles, but it makes for some good modern warfare gaming on the go.
In The End, This Game Hath Been Rated:
71%. The scaled-down version of the Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter console games is a fun little shooter in its own right.
