STAGE 9-B: HUNT FOR SHIELDS

--OBJECTIVE: FIND THE SHIELD PIECES
For the next few rooms, you'll be beating up some bugs (or "nasty bugs" 
as Sue calls it) and large vines. 
Continue down the rooms and beating on the buggers. In the third room, 
destroy the crates in the corner to find a bunch of Green "4" Icons. 
Grab them and get moving.


--OBJECTIVE: FIND THE SECRET ICON
Just before you reach Cargo Bay 1 (it's the second to last room BEFORE 
the boss fight), you'll see an extra corridor on the left side. Enter 
that room to a sort of mini-arena. 
Clobber all the bugs in here and the Secret Icon will be the reward. 
Grab it continue outside.

Keep moving until you reach Cargo Bay 1.


BOSS FIGHT: GIANT PLANT MUTANT
This fight is quite weird but this is how it works. If you are up close 
to the boss, it starts pounding the ground around it.
When at a distance, it'll shoot green slime projectiles at the same 
area each time (glitch, maybe?)

It seems the only way to expose this boss is to defeat the bugs that it 
spawns. Once the bugs are gone, it just automatically keels over 
allowing for maximum damage. At least, that how it worked for me. Keep 
destroying its spawn and then clobber the overgrown plant to nothing to 
end the level.
