This is how the game works: Each character has two attacks, a bevy of
combos, and Supers.

UPGRADES:
Enter the PAUSE screen and select the UPGRADE option to see the current
set of Combos and powers per character.
The more points you get from finishing Bonus Objectives, the more power
you can Upgrade into your attacks.

You can also use the points obtained to unlock Special Content in the
Main Menu. Just note that if you RETRY a Mission, everything you
purchased will be LOST! Just so you know.

ATTACKS/SPECIAL ATTACKS:
Each character has a Heavy and Light Attack. For example, Reed uses his
fists ONLY while Sue can do both kick and punch combos.
Ben relies on brute strength (mainly his fists and shoulders) and
Johnny relies on mainly on fireballs and aerial combos for his attacks.

The other face buttons are for Grabs and extra Special Attacks.

COMBOS:
Unlike many action games, FF does not solely rely on a Combo-Meter
(like Ninja Gaiden, for example). But you can mix and match the Heavy
and Light Attacks to achieve painful combos on the enemies.

SUPERS:
Supers consist of holding a shoulder button and pressing a face button
to trigger a special attack. A few stages into the game, certain
characters can activate a Super attack where they are invulnerable.

When a Golden "4" icon appears, it fills the Super bar and allows them
to pummel enemies without damage for a few seconds (ala Devil Trigger
from Devil May Cry).

THE ULTIMATE:
This usually occurs only when fighting bosses. After major damage is
dished on the boss, you are indicated to press a certain button to
perform an Ultimate Attack. Usually, you must select Ben to perform the
Ultimate attack.

To perform the attack, the character you are controlling MUST stand in
front of the boss. Press the button and a meter will show. When the
meter fills under the indicated button, PRESS the button shown onscreen
in the order indicated to do the attack.

SECRET ICONS:
Throughout every single mission in the game is a hidden "4" Secret
Icon. Collecting 35 or more of these Icons will unlock extra Arenas in
the Arena Fight game and unlock extra Stan Lee interviews in the F4
Secrets section.
All Secret Icon locations per Mission are all listed here in as much
detail as I can easily describe, folks!

++SECRET ICONS NOTE:
The Secret Icons are NOT spread through specific difficulties NOR are
there specific ones found during Co-Op gameplay!
You can find the Secret Icons on ANY difficulty whether it's Single or
Co-Op, it doesn't make a difference. Just find it!
