In your walkthrough, it states that Greybeard is the one Mangree that throws the fruit and knocks the beast into the pit. This is not accurate. It is the female, (don't know her name) that is the only one strong enough to throw the fruit. This tip can be found in the help menu of the game. Y for solution.
