Well a fairly tough battle awaits you, but certainly not a battle that
can't be won. I was able to wi nthe battle fairly easily at level 50.
It did however require a party switch up, my normal team of KOS-MOS, Jr.
and MOMO had to swap KOS-MOS for Ziggy since this boss cannot be knocked
into the air, only down. I hadn't used Ziggy at all through the entire
game, but his high HP total made it so he could stand along with the rest
of my team quite well. Now for the boss. He has a basic knuckle attack
you'll be seeing a LOT of (this fight takes almost an hour) and another
more powerful slash that hits your party, but he uses much less often.
Stock up and use Flame Sword on your characters, except for Ziggy since
his attack is Fire based already. Once you have three stocks Jr. should
break him by using four circle attacks, then boost to Ziggy and knock him
don't. Once he's down the majority of the damage will come from MOMO with
her Flamed Sworded bow. Keep doing this over and over and over. After
you've dealth about 50,000 damage he brings up the Kaiser Shield! The
Kaiser Shield protects him from just about everything and makes the fight
almost impossible, however it can be permanently broken! Simply summon
the Erde Kaiser and the shield is gone forever. With the shield gone he
loses absolutely all his defense. For me the combo that ended with MOMO
deadling about 800-900 damage per hit now deals 5000-6000 damage per hit
with Flame Sword. 90% of the battle time takes place before he actually
raises the shield. There's one more thing to note however, sometimes
he casts Veil magic to increase his defense against a particular element,
in this case what you need to do is just switch to the opposite element.
Fire and Ice are opposite, Thunder and Aura are opposite. Good luck.

Once the Dark Erde Kaiser is defeated, the battle is still not over. There
are still three other optional bosses remaining and one more GS quest to do.
=== The twenty-eighth GS quest is now available. This GS quest is activated
by going to the Ironman Bar in the Urban Area of the Kukai Foundation. Talk
to Caito at the bar and he'll give you this final quest. The man who tells
you to find is up on top of the Heaven's Ruins, go back there by taking the
dive device in the Second Miltian City lab. Once the enemy has been defeated
return and speak to Caito to get the Double Attack "Grand Ronde."
There are three more optional bosses in this game, a coupe of them are even
harder than the Erde Kaiser! One is on the Dammerung, the other in the Desert
and the last in Old Miltia. Personally I haven't fought them myself yet, and
I'm in need of a serious break from this game right now, but if you're itching
for more boss fights, check out some these special exclusive enemies.
