o------- Item Checklist -------o Leave the bridge and go to the lower left to
| | get off the Elsa. Go into the status menu
| Charge Recover........._____ | and equip your E.S. machines with whatever
| G Slow Guard..........._____ | accessories you have. Head South and enter
| Nano Repair A.........._____ | the structure. When you come to a fork go
| Nano Repair A.........._____ | right to find another Encephalon Dive device
| Nano Sphere............_____ | with no purpose at the moment. Head back
| Nano Sphere............_____ | and continue South. At the next fork take
| Nano Repair Z.........._____ | the upper path and you'll come to a number
| Nano Repair Z.........._____ | of little glowing pedestal things. What you
| Nano Repair A.........._____ | need to do is use these to rotate the four
| Nano Repair A.........._____ | objects in the next section so that the open
| Nano Repair A.........._____ | part is facing down. You'll see what I mean
| Nano Repair A.........._____ | just by experimenting yourself, each of the
| Secret Key 14.........._____ | sphere has an open section on one side, and
| 6 Class Upgrade B......_____ | this has to be rotated around so it faces
| Decoder 02............._____ | the front and all the green lights beside it
| Secret Key 9..........._____ | go off. Do this for all of them and the
| | hatch will open. Get onto the elevator and
o------------------------------o ride it to the bottom. Head through the
door on your left. Get off your E.S.
machines and save your game.
In the next room there's a big red button, press the button. That's all there
is to do here, you need to go back out and get on your machines again. Ride
the ladder up and run back to the most recent fork in the path. Take the
lower branch this time and blow open the panel in the wall. In this next area
make a right at the fork and follow the path up. Take the North branch at the
next fork, then go right, and right again, then up. This should lead you to a
chest containing 'Charge Recover.' From here go down and make a left, then
down, down, left, left, down, down, right and open the chest to receive 'G
Slow Guard.' Now head up, right, up, up, left to exit out of this area.
Break all the objects in this room to find a treasure trove containing two
'Nano Repair A,' two 'Nano Sphere,' two 'Nano Repair Z,' and four 'Nano Repair
A.' Save your game and ride the elevator up, make sure to break the objects
while the elevator is moving. Go through the door for a scene.

| Get ready for another battle against these two. First of all if you're |
| trying to collect everything, and even if not, you're still going to want |
| to steal those rare accessories if possible. MOMO is the only character |
| who can use Ether spells in an E.S. so make sure she knows Psycho Pocket |
| and begin the battle by stealing the Charge Boost and Tuned Circuit. As |
| for the battle, it goes pretty much as you might expect. Make sure one |
| person has the Charge Recover on, and hopefully you don't waste too much |
| EP stealing because the Medica 2 spell will be a lifesaver. If EP becomes |
| too much of an issue, it's difficult to time because of its randomness but |
| try to cast it on a double Ether effect turn. Pilum has a super powerful |
| attack capable of dealing 5000-6000 damage to a party member, this is why |
| I would say to take out Pilum first, but Scutum is extremely dangerous as |
| well. Whatever you do just focus on one of them, that's what really |
| matters. Don't forget you can swap your third E.S. machine late in the |
| battle in case you health gets a little low. Use triangle attacks against |
| Scutum and square attacks against Pilum. Try switching around the pilots |
| before battle to see which special stock attacks you like best. |
| |
o----------------------------------------------------------------------------o
There's a button on the wall at the top of the room, press it to form a path.
Now leave the room and save your game. Once again you have to do a bit of
backtracking. Since you destroyed those nasty crates on your way up the
elevator, you have to make your way back to that E.S. dock and disembark from
your machines. As you cross that area that was previously blocked, open the
chest to find 'Secret Key 14.' Exit through the West door. Climb the ladder
and follow the path West. Head up the ramp and turn right, destroy the upper
wall to find six 'Class Upgrade B.' Follow this revealed path to the end to
find a chest with 'Decoder 02' inside. Continue to follow the main path East
and then climb up the ladder and save your game. Head through the door.
Run across the long bridge out into another area with a single path going
down. Follow it all the way down to the bottom and go through the door. This
is another relatively simple puzzle. Basically when you stand on the right
side of those blocks and shoot them, they fall on the elevator. When you
stand below them and shoot, they are destroyed. To complete this puzzle all
you have to do is knock all the green blocks over the edge, and destroy all
the blue blocks. After doing that, climb down the ladder and get onto the
elevator. Destroy one set of green blocks and it will take you up to the
correct position. Go through the door on your left.
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
|_|_|_|_|_|_|_|_|_|_| What you have here in this room is an old fashioned
|_|_|_|A|_|_|_|_|_|_| slide puzzle, then knocked the crates will slide until
|_|B|_|_|_|_|E|_|F|_| they hit something. Now listen carefully and you won't
|_|_|_|_|_|_|_|_|_|_| have any problems. The blocks are set up on an 8x10
|_|_|_|C|_|_|_|_|_|_| grid at positions as shown on the diagram. Now since
|_|_|_|_|_|_|_|_|_|_| the diagram won't move with you, you're going to have
|_|_|_|D|_|_|_|_|_|_| to partially keep track of each box, but I'll be sure
|_|_|_|_|_|_|_|_|_|_| to keep track of the coordinates so even if you forget
which letter box is which, you'll still be fine.
The first step is to push block A up. Second step is to push block E up, and
then left. The third step is to push block F up and then left. Now push
block C up. Now you should have kind of a sideways L shape going on at the
top. What you want to do is use the block on the right side of this L as a
makeshift wall so that you can get each block into position and make the
bridge. Lets call the upper left floor panel position 1-1, which is row-
column. With this in mind you now want to push the block at position 1-5,
which is the one in the middle, up so that it drops down and makes the first
section of the bridge. Now push the block at 1-4 to the right so that it's
now in the same position the other one was, and push that one up to make the
second part of the bridge. You're probably getting the idea by now. Push the
block at position 2-4 up, then right, then up to make the third part. Now it
doesn't even matter for the other two. Since the bridge only needs five
blocks you won't have to worry about getting that last one out of there, so
you see the two blocks that you haven't even touched yet? Blocks B and D on
the diagram? Push both of them up, right, up and you'll have your bridge.
Cross over to the other side and there's another optional puzzle here, it
involves making a path to the segment door. These blocks however don't slide
all the way to the wall, they only go one space at a time. As long as you're
thinking logically it's pretty hard to screw this up, it's not make to trick
you or anything, but here's how it works. Lets name the blocks from left to
right A B C D E. Push D down twice and it will fall. Push E left once and
then down three times to make it fall. Push C down once, right once, down
twice and right once so that it lands one square to the right of the last one.
Push block B down once, right twice, down twice and right twice. Only one
more needed. Push block A right three times, down three times and right three
times to connect the path to Segment Address No. 13 which even after all that
work you still can't open. Exit through the East door and save your game.
You'll come to a fork in the path and two coloured panels in the floor.
There's two ways to go, one takes you to a segment door and the other takes
you to the end. To get to the segment door you need to take the yellow one,
then the blue one, then the second yellow one at the end. Head East and
discover Segment Address No. 4. Decode it and go inside to find 'Secret Key
9.' That key allows you to learn a skill that increases your maximum skill
equip by one, very helpful, don't miss it. In fact after that since there's a
boss coming up, you'll want to go back and save your game. To do so take the
blue one in the middle going up, then the only choice you have, then the
yellow one on the far left side, then the blue one going up. Head back to the
West and save your game, make sure you're fully prepared before you continue.
To get to the end to the end from the top, take the bottom yellow one, then
the far right blue one down, then the middle yellow one down, then the only
choice you have, then then furthest left yellow one down, then the furthest
right yellow one down, then the furthest left blue one up and finally the
middle yellow one down. Make your way to the centre of this area and step
onto the large green transporter. Save your game and you're faced with a fork
in the path. Take the right branch and ride up to the top, head down the path
and enter the little opening at the base of the structure for a scene.

| Get ready for an extremely difficult boss fight. Your most important |
| party member here is going to be Ziggy, he is capable of dishing out some |
| pretty serious damage. The boss' attacks are powerful, much more powerful |
| than anything you've faced so far, this means that characters with low |
| HP totals are going to have to be watch very carefully. She has two forms |
| but we'll get to that in a second. Her break point is BCBB so start |
| stocking and getting your boost meter up right at the beginning of battle. |
| Another thing to do at the start of the fight is have two people boost |
| together and use the rare item stealing Ether to get the Awakening II, |
| you won't get another chance at this. Once you've fully stocked and |
| boosted start your break attack and do it so that you do a ground attack |
| rather than an air attack. She takes more damage on the ground than in |
| air. Ziggy can do such an attack with circle when she is broken. Now her |
| defense is quite good, and with 18,000 HP it seems like it will take |
| nearly forever to kill her, and in fact this is partially true. Do |
| whatever it takes to find better ways of damaging her. One easy way I |
| find is the Attacker spell which sacrifices defense to raise your attack. |
| After you've put a severe dent in her, she'll start to change into her |
| other form which most notably has a blue sword instead of a green one. |
| This form of course is much more powerful, and also you can't steal the |
| rare item from it. Use the same strategy here as you did for the first |
| form. She'll raise her attack power to the point where normal attacks |
| from her are dealing upwards of 900 damage, fortunately this wears off |
| after awhile. Play it defensively and stay in control, always heal to max |
| HP and cast supportive magic like Quick if you have it. Defeating her in |
| her alternate form nets you double the Class Points, not too shabby. |

o----------------------------------------------------------------------------o
Destroy any one of the four electro-pillars to set off a chain reaction. Now
exit this area to the South and save your game. Save it. Run North of the
save point and go into the pyramid thing. Another puzzle. There are six red
objects that you can shoot to change their direction here. Only three of them
actually matter though, those are the three middle ones in a straight line
from left to right. Go to the furthest left one and shoot it once so that it
changes direction. The one to the right, and a couple steps down should be
shot once in the downward direction so that it points Southeast. The one
directly to the right of this one should be shot once so that it moves right
and faces Northeast. Press the button at the bottom and suddenly you're faced
with a 30 minute timer. Now if I can write this guide while racing the timer,
I'm sure you can beat it just playing the game, so be a man (or woman) and get
your ass moving. Exit this place through the South door.
The save point is gone of course, to prevent you from completely screwing up
your game and saving when you don't have enough time left. Start running like
crazy, the transporter puzzle is a breeze going the other way, just take blue
ones whenever you see them, although you need to take one yellow one near the
top. Run West and backtrack as fast as you possibly can. Fights are bad,
remember you can run away using either Shion or MOMO. On the thin path
leading up all the winding stairs it's virtually impossible to squeeze past
the enemies so just fight as fast as you possibly can. Finally when you reach
your E.S. machines and leave, there's another scene that occurs.

| At first I thought this fight was easy, then before I knew it I got a game |
| over, then I thought this fight was really hard, by the time I got back |
| I realized how painfully easy it is. All you have to do is put Jin in the |
| E.S. Asher machine, this will allow it to do a special attack when stocked |
| called "Wings of Light" that deals nearly 5000 damage. This will be your |
| main offensive for the battle. Have your other machine be Zebulun and use |
| it for nothing but healing, casting Quick on Asher, and casting defensive |
| magic on itself. Use Wings of Light each time you have stocked up and |
| heal with the other. The boss has a super powerfu attack called Genesis |
| that deals 6000 damage to your party, this is where your healer comes into |
| play of course. A simple strategy like this will almost guarantee you a |
| win, slamming the triangle button seems like it works great, right until |
| the boss gets below 10,000 HP and suddenly kicks your ass... okay my ass. |
