Tony Hawk’s Underground 2 (THUG 2) will go underground all over the world as you join Tony and Bam Margera on a quest to thrash six international cities. This time out it’s a team competition as Team Bam challenges Team Hawk to conquer the local terrain, pull off pranks, and claim each city as its personal skate park. You’ll not only be along for the ride, you’ll compete as one of the team members. You can create a skater, control one of the pros, or even skate as one of the 20 unique guest skaters in the game. Who knew Ben Franklin was Philly’s top skate rat?

THUG 2 is all about bringing you into its world and it does this by giving you a high degree of customization. First of all you can create your own skater – put yourself into the game or create an alter ego. Next you can give your skater some of his or her own unique style by creating custom tricks. Before you hit the streets you’ll want people to recognize you when they see you and to know where you’ve been, so you should take the time to create a custom logo and then put it on stickers to apply to your custom deck and use it as your signature graffiti tag.

New controls have been added to the game to help you pull off the sickest tricks. You’ll now be able to get more air than ever before by performing a sticker slap off of any wall or surface. Slow motion focus control will help you pull off the perfect trick. And if you still can’t get the trick right, you’ll now be able to throw a mid-combo tantrum and you’ll even score points for it.

Should you ever need a break from your deck, why not up the challenge by going beyond the board? Hop on Segway scooters, hospital gurneys, and even hot dog stands on your quest to ride it all.

In addition to the Team Hawk vs. Team Bam story mode you can just skate the all new levels created for THUG 2 – or create your own. The game will also include a Classic Mode which is a trip down memory lane through many of the original Tony Hawk Pro Skater levels. There will also be the two minute timer mode that will have you competing against the clock to complete goals such as collecting the letters for the word “SKATE” or simply collecting the top high score. Look for THUG2 in stores this fall.
