Tweaks, Exploits and Outright Cheats :CHTSS:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Infinite Experience Exploit (OK, Cheat)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

There is exactly one enemy spawn point in the game, and fortunately (or
unfortunately) the designers placed its power in your hands. In the Sith
Tomb at the back of the Shyrack cave you will find a body of a Dead Jedi,
surrounded by some columns. Every time you search the body, Hssiss will
appear (both normal and the Dragon type). Kill them for experience.

It really helps (and shows the power of the dark side) if you have Lightning
Storm. It does 1-6 damage per level, save for half. Four to five shots of
that could clear a room of anything at low levels, three to four at higher.
Other things that help this are Death Field (you heal a lot if you fight
more than 12 at a time), Force Barrier (to reduce their attacks) or a
  Mandalorian Melee shield.

If you're Dark Side, select the body 20 times, if you're light side... um...
  six or so.

So, search the body as many times as you want in a row, fight a dozen or
more Hssiss and repeat. No limit. But boy is this a cheat. Found this my
first time through the game and was all excited until I saw everyone already
knew about it. Ah well. No secret for me.

Lee Wallace has some thoughts about this cheat:

One way for a lightsider to work through them faster using lightning - is if
you have the drain force mastery, you can use power to drain force from them
to get your Force back up to snuff. I played through this as a Jedi Master,
and from almost no force I was able to refill my force bar no problem using
this technique. The important thing is to use this before your first attack,
as you will get very little force back from them as their health goes down.
Force Wave can also be very useful here, as the ones closest to you are
usually stunned, preventing the angry ones you missed at the back from
  attacking you.

Regenerate Force Points Instantly (from DDays):
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

If you'll note, when you remove wisdom boosting equipment, your force
points (both maximum and current) take a hit (WIS affects force points
same as CON affects vit apparently). Anyway, with low enough force
points, when you take off your equipment, the force points go into
negative. Negative force points allow you an extra force power. I
would recommend casting force valor for this extra one, since your
force points get set to 0 after the negative force cast, and you get
2*level force points back, and then even more if you replace your
equipment. The good thing about this is, you can do this during combat
and effectively have infinite force points.

Infinite Experience, Nar Shaddaa (from James Uson):
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

  1. Kill Serocco gang
  2. Get quest from Hussef (middle of refugee camp) to persuade Exchange to
lessen their pressure on the refugees
  3. Find Geriel, talk to him bout his disease to get the journal entry
     "Plague Carrier"
  4. Talk to Saquesh:
     a-->"There is a diseased refugee",
b-->"[Persuade] Lessen your hold on them...", (always succeeds)
c--> "I don't have the skills need to cure him"
d-->then pick last option to close the conversation
  5. Get journal entry of completed quest: "You have given refugees some space
by defeating the Serocco and persuading the Exchange... (paraphrase)", as
     well as 1000 XP.
  6. Repeat the whole conversation process right there on step #4 (you don't
necessarily have to pick option 'c' as a response the next time around,
you can simply pick the bottommost option to close the conversation) to
     get the ones on #5...

NOTE (1): This works quite well and on par with the Korriban glitch. Since
this trick doesn't have you using Force Powers, or even be in
combat, then you won't be hassled by recharging FPs and losing time
for that. Works well for LS, DS, NS characters.

NOTE (2): Just keep Geriel uncured and Saquesh alive and you can keep doing
this through to the end of the game when you cant go to different
planets anymore. You can do this exp glitch, finish Nar Shadaa,
come back, do this exp glitch, finish Dantooine, come back, do this
            exp glitch.. so on..

Infinite Influence With Atton (Some XP Too)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Go to Nar Shaddaa, and gather the parts to repair the Airspeeder (see that
  section above).

In order to get infinite influence for Atton, you need to install the
Airspeeder Navigation Interface from Tienn Tubb's place and have Atton
handle unlocking the security controls. Then, if it's not too late, you
need to kill Kodin and get his Airspeeder Navigation Interface as well.
Then you attempt to install it again but this time you can do it over
and over again because the game doesn't take it up. It only works if
you installed the Interface from Tienn Tubb's place first, then go get
the other one. (from Andrew Ngo)

Infinite Experience Trick - Sith Assassins (from Ryan Godfrey)
------------------------------------------

Trick I came across on Dxun. Right before you leave for Onderon, Sith
Assassins attack the Mandalorian camp. Kill all the assassins near the
fighting circle, then make your way to the "upper" camp. When you enter the
clearing, it will pause, and you'll see 6 sith assassins appear around a
mandalorian. Kill them. Now, the battlefield is open to you, if you go near
the entrance to Mandalore's building, a bunch of assassins will decloak and
attack you. Do NOT go near the entrance. Instead, hug the wall and make
your way over to where Xarga was training the recruits. There should be 2
sith assassins there getting mobbed by reruits. Help out and kill them.
Then turn your attention to the entrance to the camp, the guards should be
fighting 2-3 sith assassins, make your way over there, kill them. Turn
around, 2 more assassins will have appeared back by Xarga. Kill them, 2 more
appear near the entrance. Repeat for as long as you'd like, when you've had
enough, go over to the other side of the clearing, near Mandalore's building
and when those uncloak and you kill them, you leave for Onderon.

Duplicate Lightsabers... Again and Again
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Another glitch with some deviously good benefits. Get another Jedi in
your party and give them a Lightsaber. Hit the workbench and upgrade their
lightsaber. Change the color crystal in the saber and press (X) to asssemble.
Now select the saber again, go to the color crystal selection again, don't
select one, just hit (X) again to assemble on the spot. You now have doubled
  that lightsaber.

Now SAVE then immediately RELOAD that save. This is critically important,
as it turns it from a glitchy lightsaber (where if you remove something from
one, it removes from its double) to a full fledged, real lightsaber.

To duplicate the Exile's lightsaber, simply have your companion use the
workbench and do the trick as normal.

Extra lightsabers is neat and all, but the real purpose is to duplicate
Crystals and Lenses/Emitters/Cells. And of course, an infinite item bug leads
  to extra money and components.

Super-Sabers Cheat (by: Roger Pruitt)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

You can put 2 of the same power crystal in a lightsaber and an additional one
  as well!

NOTES: 1) I recommend saving before using the cheats, because my game has
reset itself a few times while I was using the copy lightsaber
             cheat.

          2) You will lose one of the duplicate crystals while performing this
glitch. So, before using this glitch, use the lightsaber copy
glitch to make lots of your best crystals.

          3) If you change crystals--even a color crystal--after using this
cheat, you have a normal lightsaber again... :( no copying the new
             "Supersabers" to save time.

          4) One last thing, if 2 crystals in the SAME lightsaber both modify
the same attribute (WIS for example) they do not stack, you will
only get the bonus for the highest one.

Here was Mira’s lightsaber in my game before the glitch.

  Crystal, Upari Pontite Lens
  Crystal, Sliver Expert Fencing Emitter
Crystal, Kaiburr Ultimate Diatium Energy Cell

  Damage, Energy 13-48 Attack +4 Defense +2 CON +3 WIS +3 Regen 3

Here is how to add another crystal.

  1) Equip the power crystal you want to use 2 of in the bottom crystal
slot and unequip the top crystal, and hit assemble. (In my case I’ll
equip the Upari Crystal in the bottom)

  2) Exit the workbench.

  3) Use the workbench to select the same lightsaber, and then select the
empty top power crystal slot. You now will have the option to put
the same crystal you are using in the bottom slot again. Select it
and hit assemble. (I’ll equip another Upari Crystal)

  4) Select the same lightsaber one last time. It has the same stats as
before, but now it only has one crystal in the top slot and the
bottom slot is free. You now put any other power crystal here and
laugh maniacally as you tear through all who oppose your might! (I’ll
drop in a Kaiburr crystal for Mira’s)

Mira’s finished lightsaber looks the same as before, but now it has:
  Damage, Energy 14-56 Attack +7 Defense +2 CON +3 WIS +3 Regen 3

This one works great with 2 of your named crystals in it as well! You only
get the attribute pluses once, but as you know it has awesome pluses to hit
and damage--especially if you are using the XP cheats to get to level 50.

Infinite Money/Components, the Stripper Way (from Travis Roy)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

When you get Handmaiden, you have her teach you the first lesson. After you
win, she still isn't wearing any clothes. Put clothes on the Exile and ask
her to put some on as well, she says yes and puts robes on. Go into your
inventory, and take her robes off, then ask her to put some clothes on again,
she will put on another set of robes and you will have duplicates, repeat as
many times as you want. These sell for between 1800 and 2200, depending on
  the shop.

Editor's Note: A cheat only for Male characters.

Also a good source for Components, as they can be broken down
for 200 (with a good Repair skill).

Infinite Components the Bao-Dur Shield Way
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Bao-Dur can make you Energy and Mandalorian Melee Shields for free, which is
a plus. However, he only makes them if you don't have that many in your
inventory. So, on the Ebon Hawk, break down all Energy and Mandalorian Melee
Shields for components. Talk to Bao-Dur, get shields until he won't give
them, then break them down again. Repeat.

These shields aren't really worth it for money, and although you can do this
anywhere, the Ebon Hawk has a convenient Workbench nearby.

Bao-Dur stops giving you shields once your lightsaber is built.

Infinite Money, the Slow and Pazaakful way
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

At Telos, if you beat Mebla Dule in the cantina at Pazaak 3 times in a row,
she'll give you her Double card and retire from Pazaak. Or so she says.
Ask her "questions" and she'll play you again. And at 40 credits a game,
you'll be raking in the creds... very, very slowly.

Infinite Dark Side Points
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Work for the Ithorians (normally a Light quest) and in the last mission you
do for them, you have to defend their base from Mercenaries. Go to the
Vivarium (plant room) and talk to Moza there. Ask for a reward, then tell
him to fend for himself for a DSP. This can be repeated forever.

Infinite Light/Dark Side Points (from Altizar)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

First, as long as you do not fail the persuading check you can repeat for
ever. Second, you can gain infinate light or dark side points as you wish.

  > "What can you tell me about Datooine?"
  > "What do you know of the ruins?"
  > "Tell me about how the Enclave came to be ruined."
  > "Sith invasion?"

This brings the memory overflow and the reset.

  > "[Computer] Droid, run a self diagnostic and report."
  > "[Repair] Fix the droid's memory unit."

This brings the old man running over asking if the droid called you a Jedi.

  > "No, you must be mistaken."

Now you can persuade or force persuade (ends conversation)

  > "[Persuade] The droid is obviously malfunctioning. Do i look like a Jedi?"

If you can succed you get more conversation options:

  > "Why do you hate the Jedi?" - old man laughs at you
  > "But the Jedi are the protectors of common folk like yourself." - LSP
  > "Yes. I hate the Jedi too." - DSP
  > "I'll be going now" - nothing

Now that the conversation is over, you can talk to the droid again and repeat
until either you get bored or fail the persuade check.

Kreia's Infinite Influence Bug
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

When Visas joins, you can ask Kreia about what Visas did to your eyes. Now,
if you have less than 0 Computer Use, her lesson stops midway and can't be
completed. However, it still gives you the Influence bonus for starting the
lesson, and since you never finished it, you can do it again and again.
  And again.

There is a second infinite influence bug here as well. If you have 16 INT
you can ask about Visas's home world, then use the INT options to follow
that dialogue and gain influence again and again.

Hanharr's Infinite Strength Bug (from HAMR)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Once you complete the events on Nar Shaada (DS) and have Hanhaar in the party
it is possible to "break his will" eventually. I got all my influence with
him through conversations and basically did this to him immediately after
leaving GO-TO's ship and "completing" Nar Shaada.

There is a conversation string that involves his Life Debt. If you can get
him to give up his old customs (Kriea may chime in the first time - not sure)
he will get a permanant str +2 and a -2 to INT. You will also receive a
small amount of DS points for doing this. This is great to know if you are a
DS master and do some small good action unintentionally (like returning the
parts to the farmer on Dantooine in Khoonda for a reward) and get unwanted LS
points. This can be done repeatedly.

Gets better though - if you do this enough times - Hanhaar's INT will go
below zero. Except - it doesn't get stuck at 3 or go to a negative - it goes
to 255 or something! His STR also keeps increasing. It's infinite as far as
I know. It makes Hanhaar a complete combat damage beast (more than normal)
and gives him enough skills to compete with Bao-Dur. He's with me all the
  time now.
