         (00006) \--------------------------------------------------o

o------ Item Checklist ------o Go up past the save point and another scripted
| | battle will begin. The battle was basically
| Seal of Wisdom......._____ | set up to have you cast magic on a numerous
| Bhodi Bracelet......._____ | enemies at a time, you can usually get at
| Mana Seed............_____ | least three in one area spell. When the
| Lottery Ticket......._____ | battle ends head all the way North until you
| Thera Seed..........._____ | reach a wall, then go left. Inside the room
| Silver Bracelet......_____ | follow the paths all the way around the edge
| Pure Seed............_____ | of the room to the bottom right corner where
| Raum................._____ | you'll find a chest containing 'Seal of
| Solomon's Key........_____ | Wisdom.' In the room through the door to the
| Mr. Chef............._____ | West you'll find a 'Bhodi Bracelet.' Go back
| | to the main path and begin going South, but
o----------------------------o take the first door you reach leading
East. When you come to a branch turn left
(North) and follow it to a quick scene. Follow this path until you come to a
room on the right. On the other side of the room hidden beside some barrels
is a chest containing 'Mana Seed.' In order to proceed through the door you
must first pull the switch on the wall to the right, followed by the next
switch which is located along the upper you can now access. Go back down and
through the door. Get the chest for a 'Lottery Ticket.' Exit this room and
the next one through the West doors. When you reach a fork choose the South
path, then the West path at the next intersection. Stay on this path and
enter the first room on your left. Directly below you is a chest with a
'Thera Seed' inside. Go up and around the obstacles to reach a hidden switch
under the walkway and pull it down. Now you can use the walkway to get the
the other side of the room. Get the chest here to receive 'Silver Bracelet.'
From here go East, then East, then North and you'll be back on the main path
again. Follow it until you find a metal door, through there you'll find a
save point.

Ascend the stairs and use the switch. This activates the stairs on the other
side of the room. Go up them and down the middle set to find yet another
switch on the wall which lowers the stairs on the right side of the room.
Across them on the other side you'll find a switch on the left of the main
door. This creates a path across the left wall but also raises one of the
staircases on the right to reveal a hidden door. Go back to the other side of
this room and through the door leading East that you can now access. In this
room pull the switch on the South wall. Go up the stairs you just activated
and pull the switch as you go across. Take the walkway on the North side and
pull the switch as you cross. Once again take the walkway on the South side
to the East end of the room and press the hidden switch under the South
walkway. Now the North walkway is accessible, when you go across it you'll
find a chest with a 'Pure Seed.' If you go across the South walkway and
through the door you'll find a chest containing 'Raum.' Backtrack through two
rooms and be sure to save your game. Now you can finally go through the door
to the North. Approach the familiar woman...

o- Boss (Veronica) -----------------------------o----------------------------o
| | HP | MP | Element |
| She's pathetically easy, if you can get a |--------+-------+-----------|
| Strike on the majority of your hits then it | 220 | 90 | Water |
| won't take more than three turns to kill her, |----------------------------|
| keep in mind that the first attack is the | Drop: SP-Attack Down 1 |
| powerful so a Strike on that is much more o----------------------------o
| than on the ones that follow. If your life |
| gets low try using his Drain Touch which can benefit you by both dealing |
| damage and healing at the same time. |
| |
o----------------------------------------------------------------------------o

Immediately following the first battle another one occurs.

o- Boss (Meursault) ----------------------------o----------------------------o
| | HP | MP | Element |
| The first thing you should do is heal Joachim |--------+-------+-----------|
| if he's hurting from the last battle. Fuse | 666 | 170 | Wind |
| Yuri and focus your attacks on the normal |----------------------------|
| enemies. Once they're out of the way, since | Drop: Sallos |
| this boss has a fair bit of HP you may want o----------------------------o
| to experminent with some combo attacks, they |
| work well to rack up some damage. One important thing to keep in mind is |
| Karin's low SP total, you're almost certainly going to have to use a Pure |
| Leaf on her at some point, but it would be best if you did it when she is |
| low on SP, rather than waiting until she actually goes berserk. The only |
| other danger he poses is his paralysis which can become a big problem if |
| Yuri gets hit, but you should have sollected more than enough Soul |
| Benediction items up to this point, that healing it won't be a problem. |
| |
o----------------------------------------------------------------------------o

After the scene go back to the old lady's shop. She'll give you 'Solomon's
Key' out of her appreciation. If you remember that first wolf fight, another
one is now available. There is also a new minigame available. Information
contained in the next two paragraphs and the boss fight are entirely optional.

The Luck Chests game is simple, it's just a matching game. You have to choose
one chest and another, and if the items match you win them. You are allowed
one mistake, the second one ends the game. It's extremely easy cosidering
four of them are Thera Leaves, with this knowledge you should be able to win
the game at least 75% of the time as long as you don't forget what goes where.
Your reward for completing this game is the Stud Card 'Mr. Chef.'

The next wolf fight is located at the end of the wine cellar, where you most
recently fought the bosses. Approach the wolf and speak to it to initiate the
battle, select that you are ready.

o- Boss (Kelly) --------------------------------o----------------------------o
| | HP | MP | Element |
| Before this battle it is absolutely |--------+-------+-----------|
| imperative that you equip the Pocket Watch | 180 | 0 | Fire |
| on Blanca in order to negate the Fast Ring |----------------------------|
| attack Kelly will use every single turn. | Drop: Strike Expand |
| With this it remains only a battle of | Drop: Seal of Luck |
| attrition. Heal when your HP runs low and o----------------------------o
| aim for Strike attacks with every hit. One |
| thing to watch out for is your SP, it's very easy to ignore it during this |
| fight but it's not uncommon to have him almost dead and be instantly |
| transformed into a mindless animal who can do nothign but urinate (though |
| humourous to watch at the very least.) At the right level this battle |
| is easily conquered. For winning the battle, Soul Comet is powered up. |
| |
o----------------------------------------------------------------------------o

Back in Le Havre it's finally time to take the boat. Talk to one of the two
men who are standing near the save point to do so. You'll be taken back to
the world map, at this point choose the Port of Southampton.
