"Hey, I'm a BIG fan of Legaia. I just hope we're going to have Legaia 3 and
so forth. Ok, I played Legend of Legaia already for like...I don't know...too
much to remember.... and Legaia 2 could be better. Everything in the Legaia 2
Duel Saga is good you know, but except for the dull and not bright graphics.
There aren't much cool bosses songs like the first one. It had like four battle
songs and each song make you want to keep on battling. I remember when I first
battle with Caruban, the music that came in was great! I think they used
different musical instruments to make the songs for Legaia 2, so that's why the
songs are not that strong and good to hear like the first game. However, I don't
know why but Legaia 2's music could be better. It's not that exciting like the
first one. Legaia 2 overall is cool and a must-have for an RPG player. Don't
call yourself an RPG player when you don't have the Legaia's series!!! However,
I'm still Legaia's BIGGEST FAN!!! I can't wait to play Legaia 3. I hope the
company will take time and make everything better and cool. We fans don't mind
waiting for a deserving game like the Legaia series." - Velvet7
"As of yet I have not completed Duel Saga, but I am flowing through the game
quite easily, only getting a little confused when the puzzles take a turn for
mathematical minds. The review I read on this site from its supposed "biggest
fan" was honest enough, but one doesn't need to play Legaia to be a damned good
RPG player. From what I have played, the Legaia series is extremely well thought
of and I am thoroughly enjoying Duel Saga. For the person who wrote that other
review, I say this - I have played: Final Fantasies 5 through to 10 and
completed them, Legend of Dragoon, Phantasy Star 4, The Granstream Saga, Blaze &
Blade, Grandia 2, Summoner 1 and 2, and Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance. So don't
tell me I'm not a true RPG player.
Legaia 2: Duel Saga has a unique battle system that on the odd occasion can
get irritating, but with all due respect, it works for the game and isn't
annoying "all" the time. I like it's idea of putting the attacks in sequence for
different abilities, though it reminds me a little bit of the battle system on
Legend of Dragoon with the additions. I thought the graphics were decent for the
ps2, but they could have been enhanced a little better with colour to add a bit
more feel to it. I am not bothered by random encounters, since I have
experienced it all before with the Final Fantasy games. However, the more
frequent they are, the more annoying it becomes. That is with all rpgs so to
speak. I saw Legaia 2 as a little more challenging with it's more difficult
bosses and necessity for a lot of levelling up. It's a very worthwhile game, and
any rpg fan who hasn't played it yet should get their hands on a copy to play
it." - Mel
