"If you are a newbie sniper, you shoud first go around the level of your
choice with an automatic and look for the best spots to snipe from. Once you
have found them, you can start sniping. But be warned, you will probably be
killed the first few times so DON'T GIVE UP...PRACTICE!" - Steath Fox
"When you are down to just yourself and another team member or so, try
to tag along with them. By doing this, you will increase the chances of not only
your survival, but your teammates life. Just be warned that while you are in
groups now, you are more easy to be found." - Stealth Fox
"when a frag grenade is throws always lie down if you cant get away this
means you do not die. saved my ass a million times. and socom is built so that
if you run towards your enemy it is harder for them to shoot you" -
shadow guns
"Plant Claymores, blow-em away when the enemy tries to kill you then shoot em'
up." - -ST10- Insane
"1) As soon as the game starts, look for a vantage point with thick foliage,
suitably higher up and if you can in the shadows.
2) Always have a team member watch your back. Either another sniper from a
distance away, or, an experienced gun man close by.
3) If you come across any newbs who like to run out in the open alot, capture
their head position, move the cursor along and when they run into the sniper
crosshair, pick them off with a single shot to the head.
4) Never shoot as if you are in possession of a heavy artillery machine gun. The
sniper is very much a stealth weapon so you don't wanna' be fireing half a round
for a couple of enemies. Try to shoot them in the head, or just give them two
bullets in the heart.
5) Shooting randomly never works. It just exposes your position. A veteran will
notice you straight away and pick you off like a fly.
6) Nevery snipe standing. Crouching is ok, the best stance is obviously prounce,
you have more accuracy and are less exposed." - GTA Rhino Tank
