"Hey! If you ever get stuck on the train then just use comet on one of
the squares then switch to another one and repeat. That worked for me. If you
run out of energy then keep fighting you my get some after you defeat a cyclops
or a raptor." - Z.O.E.lover
"To get Aumaan Aunbis, first get to the part where you have to unlock the
south gate, there will be to ways you can go right or left. Go left then, follow
it around ,then you will come to arch, once you pass through the arch there will
be a another left the follow it around. Be carefull cause there will be mine
that will atatch to you then explode, then there will be a big rock blocking a
passage. Make sure you have the VECTOR CANNON. Blow away the rock then go
through . Go to right then you will end up in a wind tunnel destroy the enemies.
And then go through opening and deafeat Aumaan Anubis then get his icon." - Jehuty
"just because they are the weakest units it dosent mean they are pointless
heres a tip if u stick them on a hill so they throw rocks at the enemy the enemy
wil be distracted by them and try to get up the hill to them so over units can
kick butt" - franco
"Meh since this lacks tip, the secret to the game tends to be the grab
function as far as I've found. Dash, hit your dash burst (the homing lasers) and
dive in from an angle at an opponent, slash at them 2-3 times and then grab
them, hit circle and then keep hitting it to get a spin up. You can demolish
most enemies by keeping this going.
The secret of that lies from the fact they will block the laser shots as you
dive in (stopping their attack) then when you hit they will drop the shield
typically or still hold it up as you launch the quick attacks, and then when
your spinning them your pretty damned safe.. Long distance attacks wont effect
you and anything closing in for melee will get nailed and taking damage.. Then
you chuck em off and can take out the next enemy..
For taking out clods and mummy heads: If you manage to get them to lower health,
a standing burst (throw the orb thing) will blow them apart without dropping a
raptor to attack you, but you need to have lower amounts ready in the first
place.
For taking out mass swarms of easy enemies (mines or mosquitos): Before they
reach a range where they can swarm you (but you have a lock and they are still
grouped) use a standing burst on them, it will blow at the front or so and the
splash damage will take out more then a few of them, then homing laser bursts,
more orb bursts, or a spread subweapon like phalanx will take them out fairly
effectivly.
Above strategies work well through the entire game.. I got an SS on Hard so
worked damned well enough for me ^^" - Trip-pie
