The game can be played in several modes, including a multiplayer mode with
support for up to four players. In single player, you can play a single
race or a series of races in league or championship mode. In championship
mode you play sets of three races on three different tracks. Your finish
in each race determines your points for that race, and after the three races
your points are totaled to determine your final standing. Finish in the
top three and you will unlock a new track, bike, or combo, and also make the
next three race circuit available for play. Championship progressions are
provided for all three race types, or you can play in league mode which combines
all three into the same circuit progression.

The game does a good job of ramping up the difficulty in all modes of play.
The tracks get progressively more difficult to navigate, and the AI competition
becomes tougher. For those looking for more challenge, you can select a
manual transmission for your bike and manage the bike's gears during a race.
Control in the game is very responsive, and you'll never have to worry about
missing a turn because of slow controls or weaving all over the track because
the controls are too touchy. In addition to your accelerator and brake
(and gearshift in manual transmission mode), you also have a turbo button.
This will give your bike a burst of extra speed, but you'll need to wait for the
turbo meter to recharge before using it again. There are also combos that
give you performance boosts such as quick starts at the beginning of a race.
There are initially four combos, but you can unlock four more during the course
of the game.
In The End, This Game Hath Been Rated:
90%.
An enjoyable racer that makes a great
addition to your portable library. It's not a hard-core racing sim,
but it provides good graphics and fun gamplay, a perfect combination for gaming
on the go.
