"Here’s the scoop on passing - pick your routes. Until you get the hang of it, pick slant and hook patterns. Pick the receiver before the play. When the receiver makes his cut for the slant or hook, he will usually have inside position on the DB. Pass it as soon as he makes his move or another DB will have time to close in. Once you master these patterns, move to the hitch. Wait patiently for the receiver to hitch (pump fake if you can at this point), then when he makes his move up field hit him on the fly. Fly patterns are the hardest to pull off and the lowest percentage passes. When you want to start practicing hitting these patterns, start by trying to hit your TE on these routes. You can hit him sooner for higher percentage short gains before working your way to bombs to the wide-outs." - TEM

"To keep your friends or the AI Qb's in check..say your friend is Vick and your the Pats..have a quick LB like Bruschi blitz..and take control of a lineman (like seymour) and shred constantly. once perfected...within 2 second your line will penetrate from all directions...pressuring vick to make the wrong pass or get sacked" - MecHead

"If your offense clearly over powers the Defense...early on in the game...let your FB take most 1st downs and keep jamming the ball down the middle...this tires out the line and LB's making it simple for slants and your HB to leave the D in the dust." - MecHead

"If your running game isn't enough to carry your team to victory, just build up your HB as a threat..feed him the ball often...and try to get + yds every time. then go on to play action fakes..if you have built up the HB as a potential threat...the MLB and maybe even a Back or 2 will bite at this and charge at the runner..leaving a TE or WR open for some great Yards." - MecHead
