Pick a play that has all wide receiver's covered man to man and you have one player either blitzing or in a zone (Preferably a linebacker or safety or someone with speed)(Dime LB Blitz is a good play to use, all receivers are covered and you can play your linebacker or use Dime FS Blitz be your free safety ) Before the ball is snapped pick the player who is blitzing or zoning, instead of blitzing him or letting him play zone Hold L1 and sidestep the line of scrimmage making sure if the quarterback tries to take off you'll be right in front of him. Now smart opponents will try to make you run into one of his blockers by running around his linemen all you do here is release L1 and follow the quarterback sideline to sideline watching out for his linemen and not crossing the line of scrimmage. when he stops running sideways you press L1 again and take position eventually either you will tackle him or your four other defensive linemen will catch up to him. Also some players will try to fake you out when you're in front of their quarterback don't bite just stand your ground and wait for your Defensive linemen to get to him. You can at least one out of every four downs get a player who is committed to running his quarterback to lose major yards. Also when tackling the quarterback tap R2 and L2 the strip buttons to force a fumble. And you can also mix it up with the blitz getting the easy sack once in a while but be careful because it leaves you open to aerial attacks. And against opponent's who especially love to run with the quarterback make sure whatever play you chose to use is one of your audibles so you can audible to it when necessary.
