"Select all of the rookies from this past years NFL draft and trade them to a team you want to be in the franchise mode. Either play the games with them or simulate them, you won't be good at first but give it a couple years and your a Super Bowl contender. Every 1st RD pick is on the game so make sure you fill up your backups also." - hump13

"Surprised i haven't seen this tip mentioned.  When you need short yardage, go to goal line offense and jam it up the middle.  Good for a couple every time.  Also use goal line defense when you are sure the the other team is going to run.  You might get burnt once in awhile with that tip though." - defenseless

"When playing with a team that is not very good offensively pound the ball and run hitches........run three hitches to one side the corner remembers.........Go deep.........fly routes work best..............use hot routes to to exploit what the defense is giving you.....i have found that a lot of the time you can hit your tight end for ten to fifteen yard gains late in the game if you shy away from him in the beginning." - Newsome

"If your completion percentages are usually low .....your accuracy will improve when you move out the pocket or throw on the run and step forward you give your receivers better balls...especially when you have terrible quarterbacks." - pz

"Here is a real tip for you all... Run a 5 wide out pattern where the number one receiver cuts across the middle. Send the two receivers on the left deep and after the number one receiver finishes getting past the middle of the field, hit him. It can be good for at least 9 yards a pop... if it's a fast receiver, you can usually get 20 to 30 yards out of it" - The Man

"Instead of using the lineman or linebackers at the snap of the ball, try using a safety. When the ball is snapped, don't press any buttons and the computer will run the safety's defense, whether it be to drop back in coverage or come up to guard a wideout. If it's a deep throw on your side of the ball, hold R1 and press triangle right in front of the receiver, interception every time. Once you get good at it, its unstoppable" - Manning
