"Here’s the scoop on passing - pick your routes. Until you get the hang of
it, pick slant and hook patterns. Pick the receiver before the play. When the
receiver makes his cut for the slant or hook, he will usually have inside
position on the DB. Pass it as soon as he makes his move or another DB will have
time to close in. Once you master these patterns, move to the hitch. Wait
patiently for the receiver to hitch (pump fake if you can at this point), then
when he makes his move up field hit him on the fly. Fly patterns are the hardest
to pull off and the lowest percentage passes. When you want to start practicing
hitting these patterns, start by trying to hit your TE on these routes. You can
hit him sooner for higher percentage short gains before working your way to
bombs to the wide-outs." - TEM
"When in the pocket and throwing a deep pass, if the QB is in no
apparent danger but receivers seem to be too well covered, wait a moment or two
with a few added pump fakes, and at least 2 of the receivers should move in
closer, automatically throwing off the TE's. This should allow for an easy
completion, and if you're lucky, some extra running yards after the catch. But
don't forget to look out for the linemen and backs that are after a sack" - snp
"to get a fumble without fumbilitis cheat pick punt return middle and run
down jump in front of the punter and block the punt pick iy up and run it in" - Jason
"Two good run formations would be strong power I or weak power I. Now
that you have the formation , to successfully use this play use the sweep or
toss or whatever you call it and before you hike you could either motion your TE
or Motion your fullback to the side your running on." - Jeff_philly
"When on defense, I found that it is best to play a zone based defense,
especially zones that utilize four corners or drop the OLB's back in coverage.
This forces the computer to throw in between the zones and will consequently
result in more turnovers." - SmittyHog
