"To beat the wolfs you need to dodge them when they charge you. as soon as they pass you strike them as many times as you can from behind. When you are fighting the main Wolf guy you have to be patient and block him every time he comes at you, eventually he will stand up on his back legs and that is your chance to strike him. "Defeating the woodland trolls is easy if you get your timing right. Just run forward, use your fierce attack, then use the "jump back" option. I killed the two at the end of the Fanghorn Forest level perfectly this way. Sometimes you have to jump back twice, like if they use thier overhead pounding motion.
