The Sims 2 University A First Look

| Sim students unwind after class. |
The Sims are going to school! Now your Sims can experience higher education first-hand as they pack their bags, leave home, and head to The Sims 2 University. Your Sims will get to experience a whole new stage of life, young adulthood, as they try to become BSOC (Big Sim On Campus) at the all new College Town. Sims will be able to select from 11 different majors and after graduation they will find four new career paths opened up for them.
College is not just about academics, though. Your Sims will need to manage new wants and fears tied not only to grades, but to social aspirations to make a difference and to have an influence on friends, classmates, and professors. And then there’s the fun and partying. Sims can rush fraternities and sororities and have a life filled with mixers and toga parties, or they can go the independent route and create their own party pad with their roommates. There are even secret societies that are involved in shady operations and that have been known to help their members cheat their way through school. If this is not enough there are even more social outlets from coffee houses to gyms to lunges where you can catch the latest underground bands … or play there yourself with your own band. And if you’re still bored you can always rely on the traditional college prank to liven things up. How about a midnight streak through campus?
As with the expansion games for the original The Sims game, The Sims 2 University will add all new objects to The Sims 2. Expect over 100 new objects this time out, for locations such as the school library, coffee shops, and the gym.
The Sims 2 University will require The Sims 2 to play and will be available in
March 2005.![]()
