Players will engage in intense single player and online multiplayer combat over real world locations, dodging skyscrapers and turning enemies into fiery supersonic debris.
The Ace Combat development team, renowned for their uncompromising standards and continual dedication to excellence, has reinvented the Ace Combat franchise, and with it, the action shooting genre. Ace Combat Assault Horizon introduces a revolutionary close-range assault system that delivers high-speed acrobatics and one-on-one encounters to make dogfights more tense and exciting. Players will engage in combat across the globe, dodging skyscrapers, and turning their enemies into fiery supersonic debris in both single player and online multiplayer.

Featuring a story written by New York Times' bestselling military author, Jim DeFelice, writer of "Leopards Kill" and "Threat Level Black," Ace Combat Assault Horizon puts players in the shoes of a top gun pilot in an international task force. The engaging war drama will span real-world locations, such as Dubai and Russia, and incorporate new categories of aircrafts, including super-sonic jets and the introduction of the attack helicopter, door gunner and more.
While supplies last, fans who purchase Ace Combat Assault Horizon at participating retailers beginning today will receive three free multiplayer skills to enhance the online combat experience. Also from day one, all players will be able to download the fantastic winning entry to the recent Facebook Skin Design Contest, Death Rider by Chi-Chun Liu, as a playable skin for the F15-C fighter.
With the team at Project Aces now hard at work on the game's downloadable content, premium DLC is scheduled post-launch featuring a brand new fictional aircraft, the ASF-X Shinden II, CFA-44 Nosferatu, as well as Su-37 Terminator, Tornado GR.4, AV-8B Harrier II Plus, YF-23 Black Widow II, F-15S/MTD and KA-50 Hokum. Loads more premium DLC content, including skins and maps, such as Tokyo and Hawaii, is lined up for release over the months ahead to keep the skies alive with fire.
