San Franisco, CA (December 13, 2004) - Ubisoft today announced the availability of a PC map editor for Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow.


From Ubisoft:

Fans of the critically-acclaimed, best-selling game can now create and share their own maps; maps can be created using existing packages, or by developing new static mesh packages. New objects may be created and included in new static mesh packages either by converting brushes or by combining existing static meshes. The map editor and accompanying details, including extensive documentation and instructions for installation and use, may be found at www.splintercell.com.

- Map editor (including a package containing Pandora Tomorrow maps in editor format)
- Documentation:
- SCPT Map building Overview.doc
- BEST PRACTICES MODELLING BRUSHES.doc
- ConvertToStaticMeshes.doc (About usage of ConvertToStaticMesh contextual menu)
- Geometric event
- Maps done by users and certified by Ubisoft (as well as 2 maps created and certified internally using the editor – Squat and DefTech2, a new version of the DefTech map)
