released details on their World Cyber Games 2006 Holiday Clash tournament.

Games 2006 Holiday Clash online tournament, presented by Intel. Gamers at all
levels will face-off for the chance to prove their gaming dominance and to win a
blazingly fast Intelâ Coreä2 Extreme quad core processor based PC that’s a leap
ahead in gaming-optimized processing power. The competition pits gamers’ skill
in two of today’s hottest PC titles -- Age of Empires III: The WarChiefs and
QUAKE 4. The online tournament will be held December 11 - 17, 2006. Registration

For the thousands of US competitors who participated in the World Cyber Games (“WCG”)
this year, the WCG Holiday Clash is another chance to build competition
experience during the off-season as well as to compete playing a different game.
“I’m really excited to see the WCG branching out and offering more tournaments,”
said three-time WCG gold medalist Dave “Moto” Geffon, who along with Team 3D,
competed in Counter-Strike at the 2006 WCG Grand Final in Italy. ”I really enjoy
QUAKE 4, so it will be fun to try my hand at another event.”

In addition to a $1,000 cash prize, first place winners in each game will
receive an Intel Core 2 Extreme quad core processor powered Gateway PC (a $5,000
value), and a Microsoft PC Game Pack, which includes: Lego, Star Wars II, Flight
Sim X, Company of Heroes and Zoo Tycoon 2: Zoo Keepers Collection, among others.
Second place winners will receive an Intel Core 2 Extreme dual core processor, a
Samsung 931C gaming monitor and the Microsoft PC Game Pack. The third place
finishers will get an Intel Core 2 Extreme dual core processor as well as the
Microsoft PC Game Pack. The approximate total value of the cash and prizes is
over $16,000.
