Santa Monica, CA (October 11, 2006) - Activision today announced that artwork created by 26 members of the Tony Hawk’s American SK8Land online community will be included in forthcoming Tony Hawk’s Downhill Jam for Nintendo DS.

From Activision:

Selected from among more than 66,000 pieces of logo and skateboard deck artwork submitted via the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection, the winning images will be included in Tony Hawk’s Downhill Jam as design options along with artwork created by developer Vicarious Visions.

“We’re very impressed with the number of entries we received and the detail fans put into these designs,” said David Nathanielsz, executive producer, Vicarious Visions. “In Tony Hawk’s Downhill Jam we are including a vastly improved art editor and expect to see even more impressive artwork created by our amazing community, which continues to grow month after month.”
