New York, NY (October 3, 2006) - 2K Sports announced today that Dan
the Automator presents 2K7, the soundtrack for NBA 2K7, is now available in
stores.

With producer Dan the Automator at the helm, the exclusive and all original
collection of 12 tracks will feature Fabolous, Most Def, Ghostface, E-40 and a
special remix of “Lyrics to Go”, the classic hit by A Tribe Called Quest.
In addition to contributing to the soundtrack, select featured artists will
appear in NBA 2K7 as playable characters, including Dan the Automator, Phife
from A Tribe Called Quest, and others.
“We’re ecstatic to have the opportunity to work with Dan the Automator to create
original music and production for the NBA 2K7 soundtrack,” said Tim Rosa,
director of brand and lifestyle marketing for 2K Sports. “Dan is noted for his
production skills, but he is also a huge sports fan with solid gaming skills. He
was the perfect choice for this project.”

best hoops video game and produced by far the most diverse and representative
video game soundtracks,” said Dan the Automator. “Basketball is a global sport
and I wanted to represent that universal appeal by bringing together an eclectic
mix of artists for NBA 2K7.”
Dan the Automator presents 2K7 includes the following tracks: Dan the Automator
– Intro, A Tribe Called Quest – Lyrics to Go (Dan the Automator Remix), Fabolous
– Ball Til You Fall, Mos Def & Anwar Superstar – Here Comes The Champ, and many
others.
