Santa Monica, CA (October 13, 2003) - Activision today announced the
details of their Call of Duty Answer The Call - Online Sweepstakes.

Going beyond the Call of Duty - the new intense, cinematic WWII first-person
action game for the PC, Activision, Inc. is offering gamers the chance to win a
grand prize that arms one lucky winner with state-of-the-art firepower, via the
Call of Duty Answer The Call - Online Sweepstakes. Beginning October 13, 2003
through January 9, 2004, fans can enter to win an Alienware® Area-51(tm) PC,
loaded for gaming with an NVIDIA® GeForce(tm) FX 5900 Ultra-based graphics card,
a Creative Sound Blaster® Audigy® 2 ZS sound card, a Creative Inspire(tm) T7700
(7.1 speaker system) and a copy of Call of Duty for the PC.
Additionally, two first-prize winners will each receive an NVIDIA GeForce FX
5900 Ultra-based graphics card, a Creative Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS sound card,
a Creative Inspire T7700 (7.1 speaker system) and a copy of Call of Duty. Ten
second-prize winners will each receive one copy of the game. Consumers can enter
the sweepstakes via the official Call of Duty website at
www.callofduty.com. All
winners will be selected by random drawing and will be announced through the
website on or about January 12, 2004.

As well as allowing gamers to enter the sweepstakes, the website also gives
fans an overview of Call of Duty's Hollywood-style production. Players can learn
details about the variety of missions, vehicles and weapons in the game's U.S.,
British and Russian campaigns, and should be sure to check out the four "Living
Screenshots" - gameplay clips each between 15-20 seconds highlighting the
intensity and emotion of gameplay. The site even contains "Battle Tactics," so
gamers can get a head-start as they prepare to join their squad and engage enemy
forces. Additionally, fans can download the demo, access the brand new
full-length Call of Duty trailer, check out updated screenshots, and view
"Brothers-In-Arms" - a collage of footage showcasing the Call of Duty's
squad-based gameplay; the first of three new cinematic vignettes each
demonstrating a different component of the game.
Call of Duty ships to retail stores nationwide on October 29th, 2003. The
game is being developed by Infinity Ward for the PC, and has been rated "T"
(Teen - Blood, Violence - content suitable for persons ages 13 and older) by the
ESRB.
