San Francisco, CA (October 16, 2002) - Sign ups have been opened for Ubi Soft's Ghost Recon Island Thunder Tournament.

PC gamers can sign up today to participate in the Ubi.com Ghost Recon Island Thunder Tournament. Beginning October 15, players will be competing to win CamelBak ThermoBak bags, Xbox gaming consoles, and copies of Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell--one of the hottest games on Xbox for the holidays--and Ghost Recon for the Xbox, the game that pushes Xbox Live to the limit. Register for the tournament from the Official Ghost Recon site at www.ghostrecon.com. This tournament is brought to you in conjunction with The Clan World Network: www.clannetwork.com.

Format:
· Head-to-head single player combat (max players = 512)
· Single elimination
· Prizes awarded to top 5 individuals
