Gaming News - September 2003
West Chester, PA (September 18, 2003) - Whiptail Interactive today
announced its Q4 2003 lineup. The slate will include R.C. Cars, Blade & Sword,
and Postal 2 Gold Edition. These three titles will ship to retail stores
nationwide in October and November 2003.
From Whiptail Interactive:
Developed by Creat Studio, R.C. Cars is an arcade-style racing game that
thrusts players behind the controls of lightning fast, miniature R/C cars.
Racers hurtle over off-road courses that mimic real world environments while
simultaneously navigating around people, animals, cars and other real-life
obstacles that actively attempt to hinder their drive.
Blade & Sword is developed by Pixel Studios and combines exciting action
fighting and RPG elements with mysterious martial arts from ancient China.
Unlike traditional RPG methods of either turn-based or point and click attack,
Blade & Sword gives players control of each move in the style of a Kung Fu
action game.
POSTAL 2 Gold Edition, developed by Running With Scissors, delivers fourteen
new levels of multiplayer, and dramatically reduced load times to one of the
industry’s most notorious first person shooters.
“This Q4 lineup proves that Whiptail is anything but traditional when it
comes to publishing games,” said Fred Heslop, President of Whiptail Interactive.
“Not only are we not afraid to take risks, but we are also able to diversify and
bring a range of quality titles to gamers of all types.”
