Redwood City, CA (September 3, 2003) - Electronic Arts announced that
Battlefield 1942: Secret Weapons of WWII is available in stores today.

From cutting edge weapons to secret forces and clandestine locations, Secret
Weapons of WWII will add a new level of drama and excitement to the Battlefield
1942 experience.
The expansion pack features powerful new vehicles and weapons rooted in World
War II history and many never saw actual combat-until now. Players can put these
weapons to use in eight massive World War II combat campaigns including
Peenemüende, the V2 rocket research facility, and The Eagle's Nest, Hitler's
hideaway. All new battlefields offer unique settings ranging from nightfall
during the summer in Prague to a winter battle in Norway.
Developed by Swedish based Digital Illusions' Canadian office, Battlefield
1942: Secret Weapons of WWII for the PC is rated "T" (Teen) by the ESRB and has
an MSRP of $29.99. The original Battlefield 1942 game is required to play Secret
