From NCsoft:
For players who believe their City of Heroes character is ready for their
close-up, the City of Heroes Film Festival Contest is the place to be and be
seen. The contest starts today and ends on midnight (Central Time) on Monday
Sept. 20.
The contest invites City of Heroes subscribers to create a short film of up to

the player prefers. Contestants will have their entries judged in two
categories: Best Action and Best Comedy.
The winners of each category will receive a Sony DVD Handycam Camcorder, have
their film included in the Special DVD Edition of City of Heroes being released
during this year’s holiday season, and the winner’s City of Heroes character
will be featured in an upcoming issue of the City of Heroes monthly comic book.
Winners of the contest will be announced no later than Sept. 22.
To qualify for the contest, each film submission can be no longer than 3 minutes
long. Films must be submitted in Quicktime 640 x 480 format and codec
suggestions are mpeg 4 or soreson 3. Audio should be 16-bit stereo sound, 22khz.
Contestants may host the film on a website and submit a URL where it can be
