Montreal, Quebec (July 9, 2003) - Strategy First and Paradox
Entertainment announced today that their latest real-time strategy title, Europa
Universalis: Crown of the North has gone gold and is on track to be released

From Strategy First:
“This is a must for any fan of the Europa series or anyone who loves deep
strategic games,” Says Steven Milburn, Director of Marketing at Strategy First.
“Plus the added bonus of being able to play three new mod campaigns for Europa
Universalis II right out of the box is essential for all budding conquerors.”
From the developers of the award-winning Europa Universalis I and II and
Hearts of Iron, comes the all-new Europa Universalis: Crown of the North that

war. Play as Norway, Sweden or Denmark and plot to change the historical legacy
of a region seldom explored.
Game Features Include
- Choose between 3 kingdoms (Sweden, Denmark, Norway) and 6 different
factions
- Survive the treacherous political intrigues of medieval politics
- Develop your kingdom into an economic, political and military power, but
be careful not to alienate the church, nobility, peasants or the merchant
class on your way to supremacy
- Includes 3 new fully playable campaigns set in the Europa Universalis II
world: the Alternative Grand Campaign, Independent Europe and Vinland
- Play through LAN or the Internet against friends
