(June 5, 2006) - Petrogylph today announced the availability of
developer podcasts on their website.

Petroglyph, home to some of the originators of the Real Time Strategy gaming
genre, will be providing gamers with unique insights into what inspires them to
create fun and innovative strategy games by releasing a series of developer
Podcast interviews. This Podcast series will feature interviews with many of the
designers, artists, and programmers that form the backbone of the Petroglyph
development staff.
Petroglyph designers have worked on a wide range of strategy titles including:
Dune 2, which is regarded as the first RTS game on the PC; the Command and
Conquer series, and even Lord of the Rings: Battle for Middle Earth.
Podcast #1: Audio Director Frank Klepacki
Our first Petroglyph Podcast features Frank Klepacki. Frank is well-known as one
of the most famous Audio Directors within the gaming industry.
In this interview, Petroglyph Community Manager – Kevin Yu, speaks with Frank to
find out how he got started in the game industry, as well as Frank’s personal
advice for other audio gurus who may be interested in the gaming industry.
In addition, Frank elaborates on his roles in games throughout his career,
including: the Star Wars: Empire at War, the highly-anticipated Forces of
Corruption expansion pack, as well as the Command & Conquer franchise. Frank
