Houston, TX (June 5, 2002) - TimeGate Studios and Strategy First
announced today the release of a Kohan Mod Tool. This toll will be
available exclusively to TimeGate newsletter subscribers in the upcoming June
17th, 2002 issue. Visit

Although the Kohan Mod Tool will not officially be supported by TimeGate
Studios, players will be able to generate their own Kohan mods. Players will be
able to change the stats of any unit; add new custom units, heroes, buildings,
sounds, and colors; change global game stats and more.
From Strategy First:
The Kohan Mod Tool allows players to do the following:
- Modify the stats of any existing unit (this includes hit points,
attack/defense strength, upkeep/commission costs, build hierarchy, spells,
bonuses, even the frontline/support nature of units, etc.)
- Create any number of new units, using the graphics of existing units
- Reassign existing game sounds
- Add completely new game sounds, this applies to selection, command, death,
attack, and spell sound effects
- Distribute your mods to other players and play multiplayer using your own
rules!
- Automatically generate a complete list of features in your mod so that
other players can appreciate your masterpiece!
- Players can protect their creative work with a secret access code that
lets only you update your mod!
