Santa Monica, CA (May 15, 2006) - Activision today announced the
release of Call of Duty 2: Game of the Year.

In addition to Infinity Ward’s original Call of Duty 2 game, the special
retail edition will also include a token that can be redeemed for the recently
released Call of Duty 2: Skirmish Map Pack, two new multiplayer maps (a 400
Microsoft Point value) currently available through Xbox Live Marketplace. Call
of Duty 2: Game of the Year will also include a bonus DVD containing “making of”
footage, historic interviews and commentaries and mission walkthroughs from the
developers at Infinity Ward.
“With the Call of Duty 2: Game of the Year special edition, we’re providing
Xbox 360 gamers access to more great content,” said Dusty Welch, vice president
of global brand management, Activision, Inc. “With a bonus DVD and access to new
multiplayer maps, the Game of the Year edition delivers the most intense Call of
