Santa Clara, CA (May 8, 2006) - Namco Bandai announced today that all
versions of its upcoming game Pac-Man World Rally will feature the Prince of all
Cosmos from the Katamari series as an unlockable character.
From Namco Bandai:
Making a debut in his first kart racing game, the Prince can be unlocked by
winning a Gold Trophy in all Circuit Cups within the EASY difficulty setting.
The Katamari Prince joins a cast of more than a dozen playable characters in one
of the fastest and most exciting kart racing games ever – complete with special
weapons, power-ups and a variety of Pac-Man powers.
People attending the 2006 Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) from May 10-12,
2006 can take the Prince for a spin by visiting the Pac-Man World Rally themed
area in the NAMCO BANDAI Games America Inc. booth (#824 in the South Hall at the
Los Angeles Convention Center).
Developed by Smart Bomb Interactive, Pac-Man World Rally will be released in
the summer of 2006 for the PlayStation 2, PSP (PlayStationPortable) system,
Nintendo GameCube and PC.
