Gaming News - May 2004
(May 10, 2004) - 3000AD today released an update for Universal
Combat.
From 3000 AD:
In keeping with our tradition of supporting our games above and beyond
industry standards, 3000AD Inc. has released the much anticipated and eagerly
awaited v2.0 update for Universal Combat.
This extensive update, as a result of a lot of work in the past three months
since the original retail release, has a wealth of revisions, fixes,
enhancements, optimizations etc and provides an all new gameplay experience for
old and new owners of Universal Combat.
We now also have four high-end 32 player multiplayer servers online for public
use and hosted by Hypernia.Net, a premier host for online games. These servers
which can be browsed using All Seing Eye, Kali.Net or the in-game browser, will
be online and supporting Universal Combat for the next few months, before being
revised to host our other upcoming game.
Universal Combat also now has support for the XFire gaming buddy system, making
it easy to find your friends online.
Though we recently announced Universal Combat : Edge 2 Edge, the sequel to
Universal Combat, we expect to make another announcement before the closing of
the E3 conference being held in LA this week. Stay tuned.
