Gaming News - April 2006
San Francisco, CA (April 12, 2006) - Eidos today confirmed that Hitman:
Blood Money will be released in North America on May 30 for the Xbox 360, Xbox,
PlayStation 2, and PC.
From Eidos:
Hitman: Blood Money was
developed by IO Interactive and is the latest installment in the notorious
assassination series.
When assassins from Agent 47’s contract agency, The ICA, are systematically
eliminated in a series of hits, it seems a larger, more powerful agency has
entered the fray. For Agent 47, it’s business as usual, until suddenly he
loses contact with The ICA. Sensing that he may be the next target, he travels
to America, where h prepares to make a killing.
Hitman: Blood Money features a newly-created game engine, which allows for a
new move set including the ability to create accidents and dispose of the
bodies. IO Interactive has also revamped the game’s artificial intelligence and
non-playable characters, making the game more realistic than ever before.
The game’s new Blood Money system gives players the ability to use their
hard-earned cash in ways to match their personal style of assassination. How
the money is spent will affect Hitman’s passage through the game and the
weapons at his disposal, resulting in a unique gameplay experience for each
player.
