today that a content patch for Gangland is now available. The patch addresses
minor stability issues with certain system configurations and enhances some
gameplay features. It is available for download at
www.whiptailinteractive.com/downloads.php.

Patch 1.1 addresses the following: a rare crash bug when starting up, input
problems in the chat bars, occasional stuttering in The Docks, Shootout
Balancing, and multiplayer capabilities, allowing North American gamers to go
head to head with European players on dedicated servers. General improvements
include up to 25% faster performance on ATI and 50% faster performance on Nvidia
cards. The patch also introduces some new features to the in-game chat,
multiplayer lobby, AI and End User cheats.
Gangland combines the RTS, RPG & SIM genres into a new breed of gaming
mayhem. Players take on the role of one of four brothers: Mario, Angelo, Romano
or Sonny as they visit 26 different locations in Paradise City, each featuring
500+ characters with individual behaviors. The game features 26 Conquests and
Challenges where players can use 7 different vehicles and more than a dozen
weapons to rule the streets. Multiplayer action supports up to 8 players over
LAN or Internet.
Gangland is in stores now and has a SRP of $49.99. It has been rated M for
