New York, NY (March 1, 2004) - Codemasters announced today the release
of a new trailer for Soldiers: Heroes of World War II.
From Codemasters:
The movie details a variety of combat scenarios, forms of transportation and
vast landscapes found throughout game play. Exclusively for PC/CD-ROM, Soldiers:
Heroes of World War will arrive on store shelves in June 2004.
Soldiers: Heroes of World War II journeys into the heart of combat with
Allied, German and Russian forces as players face grueling situations requiring
use of sharp guerilla tactics, stealth moves, speed and pure aggression. Packed
with 30 missions traversing several locations, Soldiers: Heroes of World War II
incorporates a number of storyline objectives based on the actions and events of
actual war heroes. Players will take chances in a completely destructible
environment as they blow up railway tracks, kidnap enemy officers, destroy
convoys, witness assassinations and work toward POW rescue. More than 100
accurately modeled vehicles with realistic capabilities, including track speed,
acceleration, turret speed, reload rates and armor, will help units flee in the
wake of heated enemy fire. In addition, the game’s advanced A.I. allows for
enemy attacks in formation, retreats, ambushes and assistance in looking for
cover during an attack. For more information on Soldiers: Heroes of World War
